Laurent Granier was born in 1966. He holds a Master of History and French Modern Letters. He has a self-educated graphic formation and benefited from advises of professionals. He is in activity since 1995.

Since 2006 heraldic painter of the Vlaamse Heraldische Raad (Flemish Heraldic Authority), which depend on the Flemish government of Belgium.

    What does an heraldist do?

    What a heraldist? He is the one who practises heraldry, i.e. the art and the science of the armorial bearings. Heraldry has indeed, the rare characteristic to be at the same time an annexe science to history and a real art. The heraldist must thus be qualified in the multiple facets of his activity.
